Downtown Indianapolis Summer Engagement Session | Kirsten & Austin

This is a very exciting blog post to share because this engagement session was our first official associate engagement session! We first thought about the idea of adding an associate photographer to our team a couple years ago when we started having to turn away so many couples because availability or budget. Fast forward to 2020, in the middle of a pandemic, we ironically finally felt like the time was right.

Adding an associate to our team was always something we wanted to do but it is definitely a scary step because it meant we had to find someone who 1) photographed similar to our style 2) cared as deeply for our couples as we do 3) had experience navigating weddings days and most importantly 4) that we could trust them 110%. Bethany becoming our associate photographer has been a dream come true.

As a photographer, we think so highly of her. You can see her work across our website from different times we’ve had her do our own family photos. So far, we have had quite a lot of couples booking associate wedding collections on good faith, and trusting that the end result would match the rest of our portfolio. With this first official associate session, we couldn’t be happier with the end result or more excited about this journey!
