Why we built our team

We realized early on in our business that there was a cap on how many wedding we could physically be at. We were turning away couples every other day and it sucked. Becca is a business wizard and began growing the A.R. Davis Media team in 2018. Since then, we have grown our team more than we ever dreamed.

the Process

  1. Complete Your Application: Please know that we have strict requirements for all roles and while we’d love to have everyone, we are very strategic about who we in growing our team.

  2. Initial Interview: If you feel like a good fit, we’ll schedule an initial interview to chat about the role and answer your questions!

  3. Support a Wedding: Before we have any of our team members step into a leading role on wedding day, you must first support at at least one wedding.

  4. Do what you love. We handle everything else.

Positions

Photography | Videography | day-of coordination | photo booth attendant

 

Associate Photographer

$125 per hour + $25 per hour travel pay

You’re a perfect fit if you love capturing candid moments and photographing weddings but don’t love editing and the backend work!

Associate Photographers are assigned to an A.R. Davis Media couple. They will capture their engagement session (if applicable) and wedding day. They will be responsible for managing an entire wedding day, supporting the couple, coordinating with vendors, and managing the wedding day A.R. Davis Media Team.

Experience is required for this position.  If you're interested but don't have the experience yet, please apply for the Second Photographer role or consider investing in coaching with Adam & Becca to grow your skill set.

This is a W2 employee position with opportunities for growth.

 Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience leading wedding days OR graduation from the A.R. Davis Media Training Program.

  • Willingness to learn and receive feedback.

  • Ability to be on your feet for full wedding days.

  • Calming presence and ability to work under stress.

  • Have reliable transportation to and from events.

  • Weekend availability and the ability and willingness to commit to dates 12+ months in advance.

  • Availability to take on a minimum of 5 A.R. Davis Media weddings.

  • Willing to work as a second photographer on an as-needed basis.

Second Photographer

$40 per hour + $25 per hour travel pay

You’re a perfect fit if you have a passion for wedding photography but don’t yet have the required experience for the associate photographer role.

Second Photographers are assigned to A.R. Davis Media and Adam & Becca weddings. They will support the lead photographer throughout the wedding day and responsibilities will change wedding-to-wedding but will typically include an emphasis on artistic candid captures.


Experience is not required for this position but is seen has a benefit.

Being hired into a second photographer position does not guarantee an associate position in the future.

This is a W2 employee position with opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn and receive feedback.

  • Ability to be on your feet for full wedding days.

  • Calming presence and ability to work under stress.

  • Have reliable transportation to and from events.

  • Weekend availability and the ability to commit to dates 6+ months in advance.

  • Availability to take on a minimum of 5 A.R. Davis Media weddings.

  • Interest in becoming an associate photographer

  • Willing to commit to the A.R. Davis Media team for 1 year.

Associate Videographer

Associate Videographers are assigned to an A.R. Davis Media couple. They will capture their engagement session (if applicable) and wedding day. They will be responsible for managing an entire wedding day, supporting the couple, coordinating with vendors, manage their A.R. Davis Media video team and work closely with the lead photographer representing A.R. Davis Media.

Experience is required for this position.  If you're interested but don't have the experience yet, consider investing in coaching with Adam to grow your skill set.

This is a W2 employee position with opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience leading wedding days OR graduation from the A.R. Davis Media Training Program.

  • Willingness to learn and receive feedback.

  • Ability to be on your feet for full wedding days.

  • Calming presence and ability to work under stress.

  • Have reliable transportation to and from events.

  • Weekend availability and the ability to commit to dates 12+ months in advance.

  • Availability to take on a minimum of 5 A.R. Davis Media weddings.

  • Willing to work as a second videographer on an as-needed basis.

  • Willing to commit to the A.R. Davis Media team for 2 years.

Day-Of Coordinator

You’re a perfect fit if you are an exceptionally organized individual who is able to support clients well while having strong day-of relationships with other wedding vendors.

Day-Of Coordinators are assigned to an A.R. Davis Media couple. They will work closely with the A.R. Davis Media studio manager, Emma, in the month prior to the wedding day and then run coordination for all applicable events such as a rehearsal and wedding day. They will be responsible for managing an entire wedding day, supporting the couple, coordinating with vendors, and working closely with the rest of the day-of A.R. Davis Media Team.

Experience is not required for this position but is seen as a benefit. 

This is a W2 employee position with opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Strong organization and communication skills required.

  • Willingness to learn and receive feedback.

  • Ability to be on your feet for full wedding days.

  • Calming presence and ability to work under stress.

  • Have reliable transportation to and from events.

  • Weekend availability and the ability to commit to dates 12+ months in advance.

  • Availability to take on a minimum of 2 A.R. Davis Media weddings.

  • Willing to work as an assistant on an as-needed basis.

  • Willing to commit to the A.R. Davis Media team for 1 years.

Photo Booth Attendant

Photo Booth Attendants will set up, support, and take down the Premiere Event Photo Booth for events. They will sometimes be at events that no other A.R. Davis Media team members are working.

Experience is not required for this position. You are able to be trained after being hired.

This is a W2 employee position with opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn and receive feedback.

  • Ability to be on your feet for 2+ hours.

  • Ability to lift 53 pounds for very minimal amounts of time. The photo booth case is on wheels. Lifting may be required when placing and removing it from a vehicle.

  • Have reliable transportation to and from events.

  • Weekend availability and the ability to commit to dates 3+ months in advance.

  • A minimum number of hours is not promised with this role.
